Pool, steam and sauna

Questions you may have about using the pool and wet side facilities.

Children under the age of 4 must be accompanied by an adult on a 1 to 1 basis.

Children aged between 4 and 7 must be accompanied on a maximum 2 children to 1 adult basis.

Where family changing cubicles or changing villages are not available, children under 8 are allowed into an opposite sex changing room only if they are accompanied by a responsible adult.

Children under 8 are not allowed in a changing room that is opposite to the gender they identify with, unless there are special circumstances. Please speak to a member of staff in such cases.

The average pool temperature is between 27-29°c in our larger pools.

In our smaller pools, suitable for babies, the average temperature is a bit warmer at 30-31°c.

Yes, we have lifeguards on duty to ensure customers adhere to pool rules so that people can swim safely.

Whilst we do have lifeguards, parents or a responsible adult must maintain a constant watch over children and be in close contact with those children who are weak or non-swimmers.

We recommend that weak or non-swimmers wear arm bands or suitable buoyancy aids.

Yes. A number of our centres have pool party packages for children's birthdays.

Health Suite facilities include steam, sauna and jacuzzi.

Customers should wear a wristband at all times when using Health Suite facilities.

Food or drink must not be consumed in Health Suite areas.

 

You must be 16 or older to use health suite facilities.

Do not use the health suite if you:

  • are pregnant
  • are diabetic
  • suffer from a heart disorder
  • suffer from excess fluid retention
  • have circulatory problems
  • have abnormal blood pressure
  • have a skin complaint

No. Shaving is not allowed in the steam or sauna rooms for hygiene reasons.
