Course information
Whatever your age or experience, there'll be a course suitable for you. Contact us or speak to a member of the team at the centre if you would like further information on any of the following.
Mini Tennis
With smaller courts, nets and rackets and lower bouncing balls, Mini Tennis offers the perfect introduction to the sport for 3-10 year olds with all the fun and energy of the real thing. There are four stages of Mini Tennis each with their own court size and type of ball. This enables players to develop vital skills and techniques at an early age. There is also the Mini Tennis Rally Awards, designed to help mini players learn in stages and take part in exciting exercises with regular rewards which encourage them to develop their tennis skills at a pace that suits them.
- Mini Tots (3-5 years)
- Mini Red (5-8 years)
- Mini Orange (8-9 years)
- Mini Green (9-10 years)
Junior squads
For players aged 11-18 years, we run weekly Junior Squads which allow players to develop their game further with one or two hour sessions on a full sized court with a normal tennis ball. Players start with Junior Squad 3, which teaches younger or beginner players the skills to play the game. As players develop, Junior Squad 2 develops tactics and techniques, as well as physical skills required when competing in tournaments. Junior Squad 1 is an invitational group for our most experienced players, who are competing regularly in tournaments at regional and national level.
Please note: All invitational Mini and Junior Squads (Mini Red 2, Mini Orange 1, Mini Green 1, Junior squads 1 and 2) are not bookable online. For invitational bookings contact Liverpool Tennis Centre.
Adult coaching
We offer weekly sessions for new and existing players in our adult coaching groups. There are different sessions throughout the week which are based on the ability and experience of the players. The first sessions is Adult Coaching 3 and as you improve, your coach may ask you to move up to Adult Coaching 2 then Adult Coaching 1.
One to one coaching
There’s no better way to improve your game even more than with one to one coaching, suitable for one or two players.
For more information about one to one coaching sessions, contact Liverpool Tennis Centre.
