The latest Covid-19 information and what to expect when visiting centres.
Six of our centres are now open for gym use and swimming. A limited number of outdoor classes are also available at three sites. You can book sessions online up to 7 days in advance.
These centres include Alsop, Austin Rawlinson, Cardinal Heenan, Ellergreen, Garston and Liverpool Aquatics Centre. Details of other Lifestyles sites will be published in due course.
Until we are advised otherwise, social distancing restrictions will remain in place and activities will still be limited to ensure your continued safety.
Direct debit payments remain frozen and full payment will resume from 1st June 2021.
Indoor group fitness classes
Indoor group fitness classes will resume from 17th May in line with the Government's roadmap. All bookings will go live online from Monday 10th May at 7am. See centre timetables for class details from 10th May.
Tennis courts and Cardio Tennis
Liverpool Tennis Centre is open for outdoor Tennis and courts must be booked online. There will be no access indoors - toilets are available at the Aquatics Centre. Indoor courts will remain closed until further notice.
Cardio Tennis outdoor classes take place Monday to Thursday 7pm to 8pm and must be booked online.
Outdoor pitches at Liverpool Aquatics are open for online bookings only. Check availability and book online for courts and pitches.
Outdoor pitches at Ellergreen and Walton are open for phone bookings. Contact Ellergreen for availability and bookings for the Walton site. View pitch hire information and prices.
Pitches at other sites remain closed until further notice.
Outdoor track at Wavertree Sports Park
The outdoor running track is open and you can check availability and book your session online. See Wavertree Sports Park for more information.
There are a limited number of outdoor classes at Liverpool Aquatics, Austin Rawlinson and Garston sites. All sessions must be booked online.
We are not hosting or taking bookings for children's pool or sports hall parties until further notice.
We will continue to keep you updated via this website and social media. And you can still workout at home by subscribing to the Lifestyles YouTube channel and join our virtual classes to get you moving.

For the centres that are open, the pool, gym and classes are available to book online.
You must book online for all activities. See centre pages and timetables for more information on what activities are currently running.
Sauna, steam and spa pools will remain closed for now.
Indoor group classes will not resume until 17th May in line with the government's roadmap.
A limited number of outdoor classes will start on Monday 12th April and will be available to book online from Monday 5th April.
Yes. If you turn up at a centre without a confirmed class, gym or swim booking, you will be refused entry.
Activities are bookable up to 7 days in advance.
You must book all activities online. We are not accepting telephone or walk-in bookings.
Activities are available to book at the centres that are open or due to reopen up to 7 days in advance.
Booked gym sessions are for one and a half hours with an entrance cut-off point 45 mins.
Booked swimming sessions are for one hour with an entrance cut-off point of 30 mins.
Some centres may vary, so please see centre pages for up-to-date timetables.
If you receive an error when attempting to book online, it may be that your membership has lapsed in the system during lockdown.
To reactivate your online account email firstname.lastname@example.org with your membership details.
Each gym booking is for up to 90 minutes and pool sessions are 60 minutes. You must leave the facility when your session ends to allow for any cleaning and the next sessions to begin.
There may be some differences across centres so please check centre pages for up to date timetables.
This depends on the centre and social distancing. When you book your activity online the number of places available for booking will reduce when the capacity for that centre and activity is reached.
The last admission for the pool will be 30 minutes after the start time providing you have booked a slot. Please note, if you do arrive late for your pool session, you won't have the full 60 minutes. You'll still need to leave the pool at the scheduled finish time to allow the next booked session to start.

From Monday 12th April we will continue our junior swimming lessons for children over 8 already booked on Swim Academy at Alsop, Ellergreen, Garston and Liverpool Aquatics.
If you were previously booked on a swim lesson course, we will be contacting you to join lessons with a reduced programme.
We will not be running any Duckling or Stage 1 classes and only a limited number of Stage 2 classes due to the nature of support these ability groups need in the water.
Your swimming co-ordinator will email you with details of how to book online and when your lessons will resume. Please keep checking your emails and don't panic - we will be expanding the lessons and more will become available soon. Please be patient and bear with us.
We are not taking any new bookings or enquiries for swim lessons at present. When we are in a position to take bookings again we will publish the information on this website.
Toilets will be available and the pool changing rooms and showers will be open.
For swimming, please arrive 'beach ready', with costumes underneath clothing.
Dry side changing facilities, including the Tennis Centre, will remain closed for now so please arrive 'ready for exercise'.
You will need to queue when entering a centre, even if you have booked.
We have directional signage in place to help you find your way around our one-way system.
Staff will be on hand to help you get used to the new arrangements, including distancing measures for classes, gym equipment and pool space.
Regular cleaning will take place and hand sanitiser will be available.
We will clean equipment before and after each use.
Although it is not mandatory, we do encourage staff and customers to wear face coverings in communal areas such as changing rooms and toilets.
We don't expect you to wear face coverings whilst exercising but if you want to that's fine by us.
We will continue to follow government guidance so things may be subject to change.
We will continue to offer one to one PT at Liverpool Aquatics Centre, with social distancing measures in place.

- We will no longer take cash payments.
- Bookings must be made online only.
- Customers who have not booked online will not be allowed entry.
- Some of our classes won’t be available due to sharing equipment.
- There will be directional signage to help you get to a class, pool or gym safely.
Direct debit payments will remain frozen for April and May and members who pay annually will have additional time added to their memberships.
Full contractual payments will resume from 1st June 2021.
If you wish to cancel your membership you can do this in line with the terms and conditions of your contract, and give two months’ notice. Complete our cancellation form if you wish to terminate your Lifestyles membership.
There are many regulations we need to comply with to make sure we are a Covid-safe environment, and this is more challenging for some centres than others.
As we work behind the scenes on the best way forward for the remaining centres, we appreciate your continued co-operation and understanding.

We know things are different, but please be considerate and respectful to our staff and fellow customers.
Measures have been put in place for a reason and we are following government guidance. The Lifestyles family has always been a close one, and we know we can all get through this by staying positive and above all, being kind and supporting each other.
