Lifestyles Millennium update

Liverpool City Council has taken the decision not to reopen Lifestyles Millennium following a post-lockdown review of the service. Read the full statement on the future of Lifestyles Millennium.

We will keep you updated on the reopening of the remaining Lifestyles sites in due course.

Centres that are open

Eight Lifestyles sites are now open: Alsop, Austin Rawlinson, Cardinal Heenan, Garston, Ellergreen, Everton Park, Park Road and Wavertree Sports Park (Aquatics Centre, Tennis Centre and Athletics track). See centre pages for opening hours and activity timetables.

Public, adult and family swims

All swimmers (including children) must be signed up to a membership or our free casual membership to access swim sessions. You can register online and we can issue a card on arrival. Registering before attending a centre will help staff process registrations quickly and avoid the build up of queues.

Children under 4 must be accompanied by an adult on a 1 to 1 basis. Children between 4 and 7 must be accompanied on a maximum 2 children to 1 adult basis. This applies to both public and family swims.

  • Public swims are walk in sessions. Check centre timetables for scheduled public swim hours.
  • Children up to the age of 8 can swim for free, then the cost is £2.30 until they reach 18 when adult prices will apply.
  • Family swims must be booked and cost £7.70 and allows access for 2 adults and 2 children. You can include up to 6 people in the booking with additional charges per person.
  • Adult swims remain bookable.

We will allow entry to booked swim sessions up to 10 minutes after the session starts. If you arrive after this time you will be refused entry and will need to rebook an alternative session.

We will continue to keep you updated via this website and social media. And you can still workout at home by subscribing to the Lifestyles YouTube channel and join our virtual classes to get you moving.

Thank you for your continued patience and support.

Please be mindful of others

We ask that you continue to be considerate of staff and customers. Although restrictions have been lifted, we will continue to operate within Liverpool City Council's office protocols framework.

  • Please continue to wear face masks in communal areas such as toilets.
  • Maintain social distancing wherever possible.
  • Continue to wash hands and use the sanitiser whilst on site.
  • Wipe down equipment after use.

As always, we will keep you posted via the website, social media, and our mailing list, if you have signed up to receive our e-bulletins.
